Dr. Deborah Menezes is an academic with vast international scholarship spanning Social Policy, Political Science, Urban Studies, and Human Geography. She has proven expertise in both the theory and practice of knowledge mobilisation, knowledge exchange, research design approaches and co-production of knowledge. Her research primarily focuses on urban and social policy, with emphasis on implications for housing outcomes, care provision and wellbeing across diverse marginalized communities. A critical scholarship rooted in intersectional, collaborative, value-based, and global paradigms best describes her pedagogical position. Deborah aspires for an ecosystem of support for all, that is holistic and interdependent, that we shape together.
